Before Shipments Arrive at OWD the customer shall send OWD an Advanced Shipping Notice (“ASN”). All of these requirements must be met in order for a receive to be considered conforming:
If inventory arrives at OWD without prior notification, OWD will receive the shipment without an ASN and the customer will be assessed a “No ASN” service fee. The “No ASN” service fee shall apply to each shipment: i.e., if FedEx delivers five cases and UPS delivers three cases, that would be considered two shipments. Without an ASN there is an increased risk of SKU misidentification. If SKU’S are misidentified such errors will be the customer’s responsibility along with any work order time invested to correct the error. If the inventory arrives without a SKU in OWD’s system, OWD will create a SKU and SKU description.
OWD reserves the right to refuse, dispose of and/or return at customer’s cost any product OWD deems unfit, dangerous, requiring unreasonable special attention, or otherwise interfering with OWD’s normal operations. The customer is liable for any additional labor and materials needed to handle defective product or packaging. Disposing of customer’s merchandise will be handled as a Work Order and billed hourly for the time to prepare it for disposal. OWD may require that these fees, along with the disposal fees, be prepaid.
Fulfillment costs are based on three criteria: size, weight and delivery time.
OWD offers five service levels: economy (7-10 days); Standard (5-7 days), 2-Day, Overnight and International.

DDU means Delivery Duty Unpaid – where the buyer pays for all of the import fees at delivery.
Unexpected import fees give buyers sticker shock – not good. When they refuse to pay, you’ve lost a sale and must pay to return your product, or abandon it.
DDU is an old idea whose time has passed. For these reasons and more, OWD doesn’t recommend DDU for e-com sellers.
DDP is an acronym for Delivery Duty Paid. DDP means that the seller pays for all the duties and import fees.
