OWD offers international shipping but does not guarantee delivery as a result of the following factors: customs and customs agents can delay, refuse to process, assess brokerage, lose, or impose unanticipated customs, tax or duties to international orders at their discretion.
Customs, duties and taxes on any international orders, charged by the motor carrier, shall be the responsibility of customer and, in the event OWD incurs such costs on the customer’s behalf, OWD will charge back that amount to the customer, regardless of whether final delivery is successful. The only exception is if final delivery is not successful as a result of OWD’s negligence.
The customer must consult with their Fulfillment Specialist prior to initiating international shipping to ensure the appropriate forms are included and the customs documentation meets the destination-country requirements.
In the event international orders are not delivered and are returned to OWD’s facility by the carrier and assessed return shipping, brokerage and returns processing carrier fees, these fees, which may include administrative fees, shall be charged back to the customer.
Fulfillment costs are based on three criteria: size, weight and delivery time.
OWD offers five service levels: economy (7-10 days); Standard (5-7 days), 2-Day, Overnight and International.

DDU means Delivery Duty Unpaid – where the buyer pays for all of the import fees at delivery.
Unexpected import fees give buyers sticker shock – not good. When they refuse to pay, you’ve lost a sale and must pay to return your product, or abandon it.
DDU is an old idea whose time has passed. For these reasons and more, OWD doesn’t recommend DDU for e-com sellers.
DDP is an acronym for Delivery Duty Paid. DDP means that the seller pays for all the duties and import fees.
